Hands-on Workshop: Digital Safety & Family Wellness

The Matakite Online Charitable Trust is delighted to support The Asian Network Inc. and New Zealand Red Cross in hosting a vital workshop designed to equip parents from refugee and migrant backgrounds with the knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world safely and effectively. This free event, titled “Digital Safety & Family Wellness: A Guide for Parents in Refugee & Migrant Background Communities,” will be held on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at The Link, 4 Te Aroha Street, Claudelands, Hamilton.
In today’s increasingly digital world, children are exposed to a range of online risks, including cyberbullying, online predators, and inappropriate content. This workshop aims to empower parents with practical strategies to protect their children and foster a healthy digital environment within their families.
