Tripura CM Launches ‘QR Codes for Flora’ Initiative on Earth Day

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated the “QR Codes for Flora” initiative at Amtali Higher Secondary School on World Earth Day, emphasizing the collective responsibility of environmental protection.

Integrating Technology with Environmental Education

The “QR Codes for Flora” initiative, launched under the EcoClubs for Mission LiFE program, aims to enhance environmental awareness among students. The initiative involves tagging various plants within school campuses with QR codes. These codes provide detailed information about each plant, promoting biodiversity education and ecological conservation.

CM Saha’s Support for the Initiative

Chief Minister Saha lauded the initiative as a meaningful step towards integrating environmental education with technology. He urged students and teachers to actively participate in protecting the environment. He also inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Higher Secondary School in Amtali, highlighting the state government’s commitment to holistic educational development.
