Chandigarh, India – Defying all odds, 17-year-old Kafi, an acid attack survivor from Hisar, has achieved 95.6% in CBSE Class 12, continuing her journey of resilience and determination toward her dream of becoming an IAS officer.
Overcoming Challenges Through Dedication and Support
Kafi, a student at the Institute for the Blind, spoke about her academic journey and the challenges she faced due to visual impairment.
“Being a visually challenged girl, there were many hurdles, but my parents and teachers helped me overcome them. Limited access to resources was a challenge, but technology and audio textbooks played a crucial role in my studies,” she shared.
Her success story is driven by hard work, perseverance, and strong family support, with her teachers playing a pivotal role in her achievements.
Aiming for Public Service and Inspiring Others
Beyond academic excellence, Kafi aspires to serve the nation as an IAS officer, motivated by her desire to give back to her parents and make a difference in society.
“Social media and distractions won’t define our future—hard work, humility, and kindness will. We need to focus on our goals and strive to be good human beings,” she advised students.
