One student spoke about the technology of magnetic levitation—a method used to operate trains in Japan and China—as the highlight of their visit. “I thank the government for opening this Science Centre in our Dantewada,” the student said.

Another student remarked that the centre’s activities cleared their doubts, enhancing their understanding of various scientific principles. “I felt very good coming here and I want to thank the government from the bottom of my heart,” they shared.

District Education Officer Sohan Kumar Ambasht expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister, stating that PM Modi’s mention of Dantewada has elevated the district’s status on the world map. Ambasht explained that every day, 40 to 50 students visit the Science Centre to observe and interact with its exhibits. Through collaborative efforts with the Mahapurva district administration, the centre introduces students to concepts like Newton’s laws, kinetic motion, rocket launches, and robotics in space using educational models.

The Science Centre remains open for observation daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with plans to schedule visits from every school in the district. This ensures that all students have the opportunity to benefit from the centre’s facilities.
