New Delhi, India – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the Class 12th examination results, with an impressive 88.39% of students passing, marking a 0.41% increase from last year.
Key Highlights of the CBSE Class 12 Results
- Total candidates appeared: 16 lakh+
- Total students passed: 14 lakh+
- Girls’ pass percentage: 91% (outperforming boys by 5.94%)
- Top-performing region: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh (99.60% pass rate)
- Lowest-performing region: Prayagraj (around 80% pass rate)
Exam Timeline and Centers
- Exams were conducted from 15 February to 4 April.
- Held at 7,842 centers across India and 26 locations abroad.
- CBSE implemented strict guidelines to ensure exam integrity, including dress code regulations and prohibited items inside exam halls.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), in collaboration with CISF, provided priority frisking and ticketing assistance for students during peak exam hours.
