New Delhi, India – Indian all-rounder Kashvee Gautam has been ruled out of the ongoing Women’s Tri-Series featuring India, Sri Lanka, and South Africa due to injury, cutting short her first international campaign to three matches. Uncapped Kranti Goud has been named as her replacement, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Gautam’s Brief International Stint

The right-arm pacer made her debut in the series opener against Sri Lanka, where she remained wicketless across her three matches and scored 22 runs.

Match 1 vs Sri Lanka: 0/28 in eight overs (India won by nine wickets).
Match 2 vs South Africa: 0/47.
Match 3 vs Sri Lanka: 0/23.

Gautam earned her international call-up after an impressive Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 season for Gujarat Giants, where she claimed 11 wickets at an economy rate of 6.45 and strike rate of 16.9.

Kranti Goud Steps In

Uncapped Kranti Goud, a right-arm seamer, has played eight matches for UP Warriorz in the WPL, picking up six wickets. Her notable performances include:

First-ever WPL wicket: Meg Lanning (clean bowled).
Wickets taken in a single match: Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Jess Jonassen (ending with 4/25).

Goud was also instrumental in Madhya Pradesh’s maiden Senior Women’s ODI Trophy victory, claiming 15 wickets, including a four-wicket haul in the final against Bengal.

India’s Tri-Series Standing

Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, India currently tops the table with two wins from three matches, accumulating four points in the tri-series.
