With border tensions easing, the Jammu & Kashmir administration has directed officials to ensure a safe and secure environment for students. Measures include:

- Reintegration initiatives for students affected by disruptions
Deputy Commissioner Reasi emphasized the importance of a stable educational environment, reflecting the government’s commitment to uninterrupted learning.
Students Express Relief and Gratitude
Students welcomed the reopening, highlighting the impact of recent disruptions on their education:
- Huda Public School student: “We are very happy. We stand with the Indian government and thank the Army for keeping us safe.”
- Trikuta Public Higher Secondary School student: “Our education was disrupted, but now classes have resumed, and we feel relieved.”
Security Concerns Remain in Border Areas
Despite the ceasefire, residents of border villages in Samba district fear a violation of the agreement.
- Dalbeer Singh: “We heard noises at night. In the morning, we saw our roof and kitchen had been damaged.”
- Prakar Singh: “During drone firing, I was trying to calm my kids. Pakistan isn’t ready to agree.”
India’s air defense intercepted Pakistani drones in the Samba sector, engaging a small number of intrusions.
